​Welcome to the North Bundaberg State High School 'Community Partnerships' page.  This page is designed to hold valuable information and opportunities available to students within the community.  This may include job vacancies, university offers, training opportunities and more.  Where possible, we will supply links to websites for you to obtain further information, links to documents and any other relevant information.  However, if there is anything further you need, please contact either; Mr Rob Miller (Guidance Officer) or Ms Helen Coulton(Guidance Officer).

Maxima, in partnership with ANZ Bank have an opportunity for recent school leavers to undertake a fulltime traineeship as a Personal Banker. The traineeship is linked to a Nationally Recognised CIII in Financial Services and we have an opportunity in Bundaberg and also in Pialba, Hervey Bay. These present a fantastic opportunity for a young person to kick start their careers in the Banking, Insurance and Finance industry with a number of previous trainees going on to permanent roles in Personal Banking and Management.
Primarily these opportunities are for indigenous young people but if there is not adequate initial interest the opportunity will be opened to all applicants. please apply via
The TASTE program - The Agricultural Skills and Technology Experience is on again. If you want to work with animals, crops and pastures, see for details. Speak to your local Rotary club for possible funding too!
Club Training Australia are currently advertising Certificate III in Hospitality traineeships at Bundaberg Services Club.
Interested students in grade 10 or 11 only are encouraged to register their interest via this link or email their details to

Applications for our popular Start Uni Now (SUN) program are open for Term 1, 2017 commencing March. 
SUN is an innovative program inviting students in Year 10*, 11 and 12 to study CQUniversity degree-level courses whilst still in high school. Students can study up to four units, either on-campus or online.
A range of new units and study areas have been updated for 2017 in the areas of Creative Arts, Engineering, Agriculture and more.
  Registrations for UMAT (Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test) 2017 are open. Information booklets can be downloaded from the UMAT website . The test date for 2017 is the 26th of July and registrations close on the 2nd of June, 2017.
