Maxima, in partnership with ANZ Bank have an opportunity for recent school leavers to undertake a fulltime traineeship as a Personal Banker. The traineeship is linked to a Nationally Recognised CIII in Financial Services and we have an opportunity in Bundaberg and also in Pialba, Hervey Bay. These present a fantastic opportunity for a young person to kick start their careers in the Banking, Insurance and Finance industry with a number of previous trainees going on to permanent roles in Personal Banking and Management.
Primarily these opportunities are for indigenous young people but if there is not adequate initial interest the opportunity will be opened to all applicants. please apply via
Year 10         School Based Apprenticeship :-    Cert III in Joinery
The apprentice undertaking this role will use various wood machining tools to shape wood. For example: window frames, door frames, timber stairs, aluminium doors and frames and other products.
Joinery machinists would set up and operate rip saws, band saws, sanders, vertical and horizontal drills etc. to cut and shape wood to specifications.     Attention to detail an absolute MUST

Year 10          School Based Traineeship : -   Cert III Retail-SIR30216     
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have the primary responsibility of engaging the customer, maintaining daily store operations and delivering on organisational expectations.
They have sound knowledge of product and service offerings.
These individuals possess arrange of well-developed skills where discretion and judgement is required.
They work with some independence under limited supervision.
Some individuals working at this level – when qualified – are responsible for supervising other team members and monitoring day to day workplace operations.
The qualification provides a pathway to work in a diverse range of retail settings including specialty retailers, supermarkets, department stores and quick service restaurants.
Individuals with this qualification are able to perform roles such as frontline sales assistant, customer service representative, shop assistant, retail supervisor, team leader and senior sales assistant.
